JACOB & FRANCES SEIDMAN EDUCATIONAL RESOURCE CENTER
The Seidman Educational Resource Center is the materials and reference hub of the
Auerbach Central Agency for Jewish Education. Its evergrowing print collection of
pedagogic and Judaic resources, video and audio tape collections, and computer software enable educators to preview the most up-to-date Jewish educational materials. ACAJE professionals are available for consultation, providing in-depth knowledge and helping those who use the Center select the most appropriate materials for their needs. The Caplan Educational Activities Lab is a unique Jewish teachers' center for exploring and creating "hands-on" educational materials under the guidance of ACAJE consultants. Faculty workshops are organized upon request. The Lab also reaches local Jewish schools through its traveling SERCMOBILE program, which features workshops for educators on specific themes. SERC also offers Internet workshops and publishes Highlights, a magazine for Jewish educators. The Dr. David M. Sklaroff Fund for Creative Development helps to support the activities of SERC.
