Interfaith Odyssey

An Interfaith Odyssey

Description:

An Interfaith Odyssey is an opportunity for dialogue between Catholic and Jewish Youth. This exciting project offers the chance for reflection and discussion about our shared past and common goals for the future. Through facilitated dialogue, Catholics and Jewish youth can strengthen their understanding and respect for one another.

Odyssey participants will have the opportunity to visit a church and synagogue and learn about the beauty and significance of different houses of worship. The program’s five 2-hour sessions will encourage students to focus on self-awareness, recognize and acknowledge similarities and differences, and participate in community building.

Interfaith Odyssey is sponsored by the Anti-Defamation League, the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Philadelphia, and Auerbach Central Agency for Jewish Education.
