Checklist for Successful Schools
Be sure that your Committee has:
- A focus on Committee goals (short- and long-term).
- A positive working relationship with other synagogue groups.
- Clear lines of authority and decision-making.
- Diverse representation.
- Clarity of roles for members and leaders.
- Open and effective communication.
- Continually renewed membership.
- Consistently positive regard and constructive feedback.
- Accountability among members (e.g., attendance, follow through on tasks).
- A sense of ongoing accomplishment and progress.
