What is the Institute for Moral Education and Growth?
- A 3-year program to engage your congregation and its schools in making Jewish moral teaching central in the lives of your families.
How does it work?
Year #1:
- 25 hours of intensive training in moral education for Supplementary School and Early Childhood Directors, and at least 1 teacher from each program.
- 3 of these sessions will also include the Rabbi, Cantor, Synagogue Board members, and other leaders, to move the moral agenda from the schools to the life of the institution.
- Education teams from Year #1 will mentor faculty in using new ideas and techniques in schools.
- Synagogue and education team will develop projects together to inculcate moral ideas throughout the synagogue.
- ACAJE professionals will facilitate and evaluate these processes.
