Introduction to Jewish Childhood Education
The
Auerbach Central Agency for Jewish Education provides an array of consulting
services to early childhood educators and families of young children in
Jewish schools in the greater Philadelphia region. School directors receive
assistance in staff and program development. Teachers learn more about enhancing
all aspects of classroom life and enriching the Jewish experience for their
students. Parents are encouraged to understand their cricital role in education
of their children. The concepts and tools are based on infusing Jewish values,
texts and practices in all areas of classroom life. Our approach allows
Jewish early childhood programs to take advantage of young children and
their families' readiness to learn.
